This week, Team Walker had the privilege of hearing from Coach Bachman, head football coach at Alexandria Senior High School.

Coach Bachman shared valuable lessons about discipline, leadership, and culture, and how those principles apply whether you’re on the football field, in a dealership, or leading a team.

One message especially stood out:

“Leaders are the gatekeepers of everyday culture.”

Great leaders make everything around them better, not because they seek recognition, but because of how they guide, encourage, and develop others. An organization’s culture doesn’t happen by accident. It is shaped by what leaders tolerate, what they encourage, and how they show up each day.

We appreciate Coach Bachman taking the time to speak with our team and share lessons that extend far beyond the football field into business, leadership, and life.
