A common question we get: what is the difference between a modular and a manufactured home?

Modular homes are built in sections in a factory and then brought out and placed on your foundation. Modular homes are built to the same code as site built homes. Manufactured homes are built in a factory and are built to Federal HUD code and placed on frost piers or engineered frost protected slab.

Alexandria Homes offers both. If you are not sure which fits your situation, we are happy to walk you through it.
