Your nose might notice a car problem before your dashboard does. If you suddenly notice an unusual smell while driving, your vehicle could be trying to tell you something.

🔥 Burning oil: Could mean oil is leaking onto a hot engine component.
🍬 Sweet smell: Often associated with coolant and could indicate a leak somewhere in the cooling system.
🥚 Rotten egg smell: May be related to the exhaust system or catalytic converter.
🛞 Burning rubber: Could come from a slipping belt, overheating component, or something rubbing against a moving part.

An unusual smell doesn’t automatically mean a major repair, but it’s something you shouldn’t continue ignoring—especially if the smell is getting stronger or is accompanied by smoke, warning lights, or changes in how the vehicle drives.

Notice something that doesn’t smell right? Have it checked before a small issue turns into a bigger one.

Your battery might be wearing out faster than you think. 🔋

Three common things that can shorten its life:
🚗 Frequent short trips — Your alternator needs time to recharge the battery after starting the vehicle. Lots of quick drives can make that harder.
🌡️ Extreme temperatures — Both summer heat and freezing winter temperatures can put added stress on your battery.
🔌 Electronics and accessories — Lights, chargers, dash cameras, and other electronics can slowly drain your battery, especially when the engine isn’t running.

If your car is starting slower than usual, you hear clicking when you turn the key, or you’re unsure how much life your battery has left, it’s worth getting it checked before you’re stuck with a car that won’t start.
