🎉 LABOR DAY WEEKEND AT GREENBRIER RIVER CAMPGROUND! 🇺🇸🏕️

Labor Day Weekend is almost here, and we’ve got a fun-filled weekend planned at the campground! Come spend the long weekend with us and enjoy live music, games, tie dye, karaoke, and plenty of campground fun. ❤️💙

🕙 10 AM – Tie Dye

We supply the tie-dye supplies—you bring your shirt or item to dye! All ages welcome. Kids must have an adult present.

Enjoy live music from local Alderson musician Andy Burke! We’ll also have a fire and marshmallows, so bring your sticks and chairs and join us around the fire! 🔥🍫

🎉 Looking for something fun to do after your river adventure? Head over to nearby Talcott this weekend for **John Henry Days**! Celebrate one of West Virginia's most legendary folk heroes with live music, food vendors, crafts, a parade, fireworks, a car show, and family-friendly fun. The festival runs **July 10–12** and is just a short drive from Greenbrier River Campground. 🚣‍♀️🌄

Spend the day on the river, then experience one of our favorite local traditions. We hope you enjoy everything our beautiful corner of Almost Heaven has to offer! 💙💛

What a colorful way to start a Sunday morning during our July 4th weekend at Greenbrier River Campground! 🇺🇸🌈

This morning's tie-dye event was filled with creativity, laughter, and plenty of bright colors. Campers of all ages gathered to create their own unique shirts and keepsakes, making memories that are just as vibrant as their designs!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the event such a success. We love seeing our campground community come together for fun family activities like this.🎨✨

Wow, the summer is flying by and we are almost into July!

Come Celelbrate Our Independence Day with Us at GBRC!
We only have one RV site to fill and you Must Call the office to reserve this special spot! It’s a 30amp site and it’s best for campers 36 and under! Ask for Site 16!
And we have Site 23 but only for July 3 and July 4, two nights. This one can be booked online!

Here is what’s happening at camp but don’t forgot that Alderson has the best July 4th Celebrations around and FireWorks! Hope to see you all soon!

Hello all! We’ve been busy interacting with the guest and insuring everyone has a fun and relaxing time here at GBRC.
Fun-filled weekends and quiet weekdays make for a peaceful and fulfilling camping experience for all!

River tubing is popular now with the river being low and slower for a relaxing day on the water. Book your tubing adventure online!

The town of Alderson is preparing for the 250th July 4th celebration. Buy a ducky for the duck race and be sure to get your tickets for the entertainment and fireworks!

Lots going on around Lewisburg and Ronceverte too! The new Mini Golf is now open At Ronceverte Park. The Greenbrier Valley Theater has their live plays running for the season! Check them out!

Oh and the FOOD Choices in and around Alderson are tasty! Wow, what a selection!

Come for a visit and check out what’s best for your family! There’s something for everyone at camp, in the surrounding towns or just the scenic ride through the hills and hollers!
