Hey There areas - we are looking for a new team member. Must be able to MIG/TIG weld and some other fabrication duties (shear, grind, saw etc). We are looking for someone who loves to make the dreams of other small business owners happen, work on custom builds and think outside the box.

I am blasting this out, just in case anyone is thinking about purchasing or building a food truck in the near future. A customer recently brought us a food truck he received to settle a debt. The truck was built in last October for $130,000 and has only been used a few times for small events. It only needs the proper size water tanks even though it is permitted already. It is very clean. Here is what it has:

-2006 MT55 22' Freightliner Diesel Truck, 319,000 Miles, but a new engine at 145,000 miles - Truck runs well
-Genmax 9000 IE Portable Generator
-Dukers 24" Char Grill
-Dukers 36" Flat Top Griddle
-Dukers 48" Refrigerated Prep Table
-Dukers 24" 4 Burner Oven
-Dukers (2) Deep Fryers
-(1) Heated Holding Cabinet (Full Size)
-Dukers (2) Reach in Refrigerators
-Dukers (1) Reach in Freezer
-2 Bay Steam Table
-55" TV Menu Board
-(2) 36" x 48" Service Windows w/ 96" Flip Up Outside Shelf
-(2) 48" SST Shelves
-(2) 36" SST Shelves
- LG Mini Split A/C Unit
- 3 Bay and Hand Sink

The price is $95,000 all in, includes sales tax! That is a price of $87,356.00 plus tax. We are willing to take $70,000 down and finance the balance over the remainder of 2025.

This is a great deal for anyone thinking about adding to their fleet or getting into the business quickly!

Photos are attached! Please let me know if you or someone you know are interested!! Call 716-785-1265

"Where it all began" for us!!!!

When we first opened our doors in early 2019, Pete and Chris - the owners of Lloyd's Tacos approached us to do some maintenance work on "Dos”, what was Lloyd's 2nd food truck in its fleet of now 5.

In all honesty, we were a new business, so putting their belief in us was one of the best things that ever happened to our business! While Chris and Pete knew my partner Jamie, they were largely unfamiliar with me (PJ), so taking a chance on us was indeed "a chance"! Little did we know that this trial run of maintenance work on Dos would lead the way to "Lloyd's 5", the newest state of the art food truck added to their fleet! After Chris and Pete sourced a brand-new truck, we began would be the real beginning of JP Food Trucks, LLC!

This truck included many of the same features as their other trucks: such as an Alto Sham, 48" griddle, (2) deep fryers, 3 bay steam table, panini press, insulated ice well, large, refrigerated prep table and multiple reach in refrigerators. We also installed (2) 72" service windows, side by side, a large LED lit menu board and flip up shelves for additional customer service space. To say this truck was "fully loaded", would be an understatement! But, why not?!?! Just jump right in? To this day, Lloyds 5 travels around the Buffalo area feeding the hungriest customers at events of all shapes and sizes! We cannot thank Chris and Pete enough for not only believing in us, but for their continued belief and support and being an absolute advocate and reference for us to this day!

For those of you who do not know, Lloyd's Tacos just opened their 3rd brick and mortar restaurant on Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo, NY. We want to wish them nothing but continued success in their future endeavors and we hope to work with you again real soon!

When Michelle Secor (aka "The Mom") contacted us for the first time, she immediately communicated that her daughters (Sara & Jamie) had attended culinary school and were currently employed as chefs in New York City. At that point in their careers, they were looking to start their own venture here in Western New York and a food truck seemed like a cost-effective way to get into business, without the massive cost of building a brick and mortar. That was when Edgy Vegy BFLO was born! The Secor sisters came to us with a Chevy Express Cutaway already purchased, so it really came down to equipment selections that met their unique menu. See, Sara and Jamie are Vegan chefs! Their menu includes not only 100% Vegan options, but it also a selection of gluten-free delights! That combined with local farm to table options and Buffalo based favorites creates a variety of mouthwatering dishes to please those with Vegan diets or need to avoid gluten! Their build included a countertop convection oven, a flat top, deep fryer, 4 burner and a massive, refrigerated prep table where all the sandwich magic happens! Pair that with ample refrigeration and an undercounter freezer and you have the Edgy Vegy BFLO food truck! Their popularity continues to skyrocket on the local scene, and we look forward to the day when we get to work with them again!

The Greenfield Public Schools project came to us via winning a public bid. When Madison and Greta first approached us, the plan was to incorporate as many "green" initiatives as possible into the build. We explored fully electric options for a truck and equipment, but the green technology in this area was simply too expensive to be cost effective at the time (We did learn a lot though!). The next best thing to do was to provide as much electric equipment as possible and lean on as little liquid propane as possible to satisfy some of their "green" goals. We ended up building a truck with two small LP tanks and the only LP equipment on board was a flat top griddle and an LP on demand water tank. The balance of the build out included heated holding cabinet, electric convection oven, electric steam table and ample refrigeration and freezer space. This allowed Greenfield Schools the ability to participate in many public events as well as meet the goals of their summer lunch program. I recently met up with Greta in person and got to tour the food truck a few years later and it did not disappoint. The truck was as clean as the day we shipped it, and they have been very satisfied with their food truck experience. Greta continues to be a great customer and advocate for us and their school is a model for how food trucks should be used in a school setting! I hope we get to work with the district again someday!

Fat Bob's Smokehouse - When Pat Ryan, owner of Fat Bob's Smokehouse first approached us, his 2008 food truck was in severe disrepair. The success he experienced with his first food truck was an integral part of his business, so he made the decision to invest in the next generation food truck that could handle all of his events that required his business to mobilize. It all started with a sketch and a list of equipment from his 2008 truck. From there, we added some modern touches, added safety systems and made it all fit in an 18' step van. What was unique about Fat Bob's 2.0 food truck, or as it is fondly called "Big Brisket Daddy" you ask? It had two 36" x 48" service windows, split apart and it was vinyl wrapped on all sides AND on the entire roof, which is not normal! The focus of this build was the design of the workflow on the truck. We focused on maximizing the efficiency of the space that would in turn minimize the time it took to prepare and serve a dish, thus maximizing profits! We installed refrigeration at both ends, a double deck convection oven, a 4-bay steam table, fryer, 2-burner, char grill and a heated holding cabinet. We finished off the line with a refrigerated prep table, located closely to the serving window as the final stop before dishes were served to waiting hungry customers! We also installed several wall shelves for added storage! To this day, you see Fat Bob's Smokehouse at many local events, and they are still an active customer to this day!
