MISSION:
To get as many people involved and educated on the sport of R/C car racing. OVERVIEW:
ARCOR is a non-profit (501c3) corporation involved with the sport/hobby of RC car racing. We operate a volunteer-sustained off-road R/

C race track in Albuquerque, NM. We host regular races as well as teach others about our hobby. We participate in many community and charitable organizations. We even hold charity races and participate in other organizations charity races as well. The track is "motocross" style with lots of big jumps and elevation changes. We run electric and nitro powered vehicles and offer races for all ages and experience levels from novice to expert. It's a great family environment, fun for all! As always it's FREE to spectate! NM state series Round 3 in the books! Thank you to everyone who showed up and raced! Another great turnout! Track was super grooved and it made the racing fun to watch!
Thank you to Jeff Kilbreth for always helping us out with track maintenance and Tony Hinojosa for helping us with live rc. Now on to round 4 in Overlook!

🚨🚨 NM State Series round 3 this weekend at ARCOR on the new layout! We hope to see you there for all the epic battles that have already happened for round 1 and 2. Points are getting tight between all the classes!

2026 Southwest showdown was Awesome! Appreciate everyone who made the trip out to Arcor! 107 entries made for some good racing! Track conditions were great!

Gates are open. We have power and water right now. Power is still limited!

Today is setup day for 2026 Southwest Showdown! Gates will be open at 4pm to start getting campers and pit trailers set up.

Friday 10am gates will open up for setup! Practice will start at Noon!

🚨🚨PLEASE READ🚨🚨 attention racers, we have an update for Southwest Showdown. On Friday 4/24 we lost power due to a blown transformer. The county does not know what caused this to happen but its effecting much the area. They haven't given us a solid update on repairs but they are currently working on repairs. This also means theres no power to the water pump at the water tank so we don't have water either. BUT we do have a plan in place and the race will go on.

We will have two 500 gallon water wagons on site as well as an industrial generator.
We are getting the equipment Friday morning.

This generator will power the tent city for pit lights and battery chargers ONLY

Heat guns, pit trailers, campers, will need to bring their own generators.

We are asking all racers to bring generators/inverters if you have them and share with your fellow racers if we all band together this will still be a great event.

This is an unfortunate hiccup noone had any control over.

We will post an update immediately if power is restored but for now this is the plan we are taking to keep this race happening.

We are super excited to post this layout!
Mykael Amos has created another banger!
Huge thank you Mykael and Andy for their hard work on this rebuild and all the board members and volunteers that helped with the track build, cleanup of the facility and and piping of the track. The RC community united keeps this facility going.
