Today at Zia Autohaus, we’re tackling a major drivetrain repair on a BMW X5. After diagnosing the vehicle, we found that the front differential had failed and required replacement. The front differential plays a critical role in transferring power to the front wheels on BMW's xDrive system, and when it fails, it can lead to drivability issues, noise, and potential damage to other drivetrain components.

With a replacement differential being installed, this X5 will be back to delivering the smooth and confident all-wheel-drive performance it was designed for.

Happy Friday from Zia Autohaus! We’re wrapping up the week with a major repair on a 2013 BMW X3 equipped with the N20 engine. This vehicle came in with failed timing chain guide, a common but serious issue on these engines that can lead to catastrophic engine damage if left unaddressed. We’re replacing the timing chain components to get this X3 back to reliable operation and protected for the road ahead.

We also want to wish everyone a safe Memorial Day weekend. Zia Autohaus will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day, and we will resume normal operations on Tuesday, May 26th.

Today at Zia Autohaus, we’re working on a 1998 Chevy Camaro Z28 for some major leak repairs. We removed the transmission to replace the torque converter seal and rear main seal, two critical components that can cause significant oil leaks when they fail.

Today at Zia Autohaus, we’re tracking down a coolant leak on a BMW X1. After a thorough diagnosis, we found the source to be the oil filter housing, which had begun to leak coolant.

Today at Zia Autohaus, we’re taking care of a BMW 750i that came in with a heavy coolant leak. After diagnosing the issue, we found the water pump was leaking significantly, so we’re replacing the water pump along with the thermostat to restore proper cooling system function.
