Today at Zia Autohaus, we’re upgrading this G80 M3 with a Yonristic Vanta Gold Titanium Valved Exhaust. The titanium construction helps reduce weight while the valved design gives the driver more control over the exhaust sound, allowing it to stay more subdued when the valves are closed and open up when it’s time to hear the S58. A great upgrade for an M3 that’s getting both a performance-focused look and a more aggressive exhaust note.

Today at Zia Autohaus, we’re upgrading the transmission in this F30 340i with a Pure Stage 2 transmission setup. The upgrade includes a harness swap and a new mechatronics unit to support the increased power and torque this 340i is putting down. With the right transmission upgrades, these cars can handle significantly more power while improving overall transmission performance and reliability. This 340i is getting built to put the power down and handle what’s coming next.

Today at Zia Autohaus, we’re tackling some major engine work on a Ford Expedition with a timing chain replacement. Timing chain repairs are a significant job and require careful attention to ensure everything is properly aligned and timed during reassembly.

We’re replacing the timing chain components and making sure everything is operating as it should before getting this Expedition back on the road. Proper timing is critical to engine performance and reliability, and we’re here to make sure the job is done right.

Today at Zia Autohaus, we’re chasing down an electrical issue on a BMW M850i. The vehicle came in with multiple electrical problems, including inoperative windows and mirrors, along with a trunk that wouldn’t open using the remote. After diagnosing the vehicle, we found a short in the wiring that was causing the issues.

Electrical diagnostics can be challenging when one wiring fault affects multiple systems, but finding the root cause is key to getting everything working properly again. We’re tracking down the short, repairing the wiring, and getting this M850i back to full functionality.

Today at Zia Autohaus, we’re tackling a major repair on a 2016 MINI Clubman. The vehicle came into the shop needing a turbocharger replacement, so we’re removing the failed unit and installing a new turbocharger to restore proper boost and engine performance.

Turbochargers operate under extreme heat and pressure, so when they fail, they can have a major impact on the vehicle’s performance and drivability. We’re getting this MINI back to running strong and delivering the performance it was designed for.

Today at Zia Autohaus, we’re diagnosing and repairing a 2016 BMW X5 diesel that came into the shop with a check engine light and multiple cylinder misfires. After further diagnosis, we determined the glow plugs were the source of the issue and are replacing them to restore proper combustion and engine operation.

Glow plugs play an important role in diesel engine starting and combustion, especially when the engine is cold. We’re getting this X5 back to running smoothly and reliably.

Today at Zia Autohaus, we're addressing excessive oil consumption on a BMW X5M. After diagnosis, we determined the issue was related to the PCV system, which is integrated into the valve covers on this engine. When the PCV system fails, it can lead to increased crankcase pressure and excessive oil consumption.

We're replacing the valve covers to correct the failed PCV system and get this X5M back to running properly. Proper diagnosis is key when dealing with oil consumption issues, and we're making sure we're addressing the root cause rather than just treating the symptoms.

Today at Zia Autohaus, we're replacing collapsed engine mounts on a BMW 228i Gran Coupe. Over time, engine mounts can wear out and lose their ability to properly support the engine, leading to excessive vibration, unwanted engine movement, and a rougher driving experience.

With a new set of engine mounts installed, this 228i will be back to delivering the smooth, refined ride it was designed for. Addressing worn mounts not only improves comfort but also helps protect other drivetrain components from unnecessary stress.

Today at Zia Autohaus, we're upgrading an M4 with a set of Mishimoto performance charge pipes. The factory plastic charge pipes are a known weak point on many turbocharged BMWs, especially on vehicles that see spirited driving or performance tuning.

Happy Friday from Zia Autohaus! We're wrapping up the week with some preventative upgrades on an F90 BMW M5. The factory coolant expansion tank had developed a leak, allowing coolant to drip onto the ignition coils and fuel injectors. To eliminate the issue and improve long-term reliability, we're installing an upgraded billet expansion tank.

While the vehicle is in the shop, we're also adding an upgraded oil cooler guard underneath the car to provide additional protection for the cooling system from road debris. Performance cars deserve performance-minded solutions, and we're proud to help keep this M5 running at its best. Have a safe and enjoyable weekend!
