DETOUR TO TERROR is a 1980 made-for-television action thriller film that originally premiered on NBC on February 22, 1980. Filmed at Hill Top Campground which is now called Enchanted Trails in Albuquerque. Hill Top was dressed to look like a Gallup Bus Station.

The cast included O.J. Simpson, Lorenzo Lamas, Arte Johnson, and Anne Francis.

Imagine traveling down Route 66 in your 1950 Hudson while towing your camper. What a blast it must have been to set up your campsite, while the kids were collecting kindling for tonight’s campfire.
We have a great vintage camper exhibit that you can tour through. No charge, we’re just sharing the love of travel. We are open daily so stop in sometime to see the campers and while you’re here check out the only hubcap tree on the Mother Road.
