I’ve been very busy lately as I have taken on a full time job and now just doing this on the side. So my focus is going to from this point moving forward mostly full restorations one at a time. I have one here and another one I am personally working with for myself. Pics of the ST90 Honda restoration to come and my little side project a 70’s ARCO C**t mini bike. The c**t is stretched has a Honda urban Express front fork setup disc brakes and some other frame modifications. Pics to come of the ST90.

Ok so this project was months to complete but now as finished and original as I could get it. 1968 Rupp XL 350 the gentleman had owned this bike since he was 11! I was proud to accept and rebuild this bike for him. I had a few others help along the way with particular parts and services but when it all came together the time spent to make it right again paid off. This is a very rare mini bike and very hard to get items for but thanks to TruDip Powder Coating LLC for the color and blackwidowmotorsports for the parts. And a local chrome shop for rechroming many of the parts we could not get.

Suzuki Rmz250 4 stroke complete engine rebuild. This all started with a broke valve then once it was running again it ran too hot shut it down went through it again to make sure everything I had done with the top end was spot on. It was. So I drained the coolant and oil again. Loads more metal in the oil. Pulled the engine back out crankshaft and bearings bad, oil pump bad, previous person replaced crank shaft and damaged engine case.

Needless to say now we have another engine case a new full set of all the bearings and seals and a new to this bike working oil pump. All I can say is wow! So much damage due to someone trying to make a quick buck. I spend weeks building an engine the previous person turned it around in a couple weeks.

Still waiting on new timing chain and guides to go into it. Here’s some pics!

So I adventured into working on something a bit different. A Japanese Kei Van a 98 Suzuki Every that belongs to a good customer and friend of mine. It’s been an interesting experience. I have installed a Harley CV40 carburetor, changed all the fluids, replaced all the tune up parts, added a radio that works here in the US. Added speakers and a small underseat subwoofer. Fixed wiring and lights. Added sound deadening material inside the panels. And several other bits and pieces along the way. It’s a neat little van! Here are a few pics!

Check out this crazy stand on scooter it was purchased in Brazil by its original owner then he brought it here when he moved. Now I have it! It’s called a Walk Machine. Powered by a 42cc 2 stroke engine belt driven and really fun! Still has the original tires on it although I will be replacing them soon. If you happen to have ever seen another in the US for sale let me know. I am still researching it!

Don’t let just anyone rebuild your engine. I have a bike in the shop it’s been a nightmare that doesn’t end. Took the top end off after it had been rebuilt only lasted 30 mins per the owner before a valve broke. I rebuilt the top end completely had to get a new cylinder head etc. got it back together very hard to start. Got it started had it running noticed the large amount of metal in the oil after only running 15 mins. Drain the oil, added fresh oil bike still hard to start. Tore it back down found nothing wrong with my work. So started into the engine case, flywheel key intact, timing chain dead on valves correctly shimmed, removed clutch cover oh the nut holding the driven gear had backed off chewing into the cover. Transmission main shaft has 1/4 inch of side to side play, pulled clutch to find engine case broken!

A cautionary and real story I am still working on!
