Ted & Joe's Towing is now hiring all driving positions. We are a family owned business based in Alameda and have been serving the Bay Area for over 60 years! We are primarily a commercial towing company that prides itself on excellent customer service. As a 24/7 operation, we are dedicated to being there for our customers whenever, wherever they need us, ensuring prompt and professional service at any hour. We are looking for a highly motivated, dependable team player. We prefer a driver with experience but we are always willing to train the right individual.
Qualifications:
Clean DMV printout.
Have a valid CA driver's license (Class A required for heavy duty drivers).
CTTA or Wreckmaster Certification is a plus
Submit to a background check as well as passing LIFESCAN from CHP.
Pass a pre employment drug screening as well as participate in random drug tests.
Must be at least 21 years old (insurance requirement)
Be able to lift objects up to 75 lbs.
Must be willing to work all weekdays and rotating weekends, nights, holidays.
Skills:
Strong understanding of towing and recovery techniques
Above average mechanical aptitude
Excellent problem solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills
Maturity and professionalism in handling challenging situations.
