Completed a full sandblast and FAA-compliant paint application on a Nello Corporation Radar Platform tower.

The structure was completely sandblasted prior to coating to ensure proper adhesion and long-term corrosion protection, then finished with aviation obstruction marking paint that meets current FAA requirements.

We're glad to keep critical infrastructure protected and visible.

Throwback to the roots of Hoffman Body Shop in Akron, Indiana.

Long before it became Hoffman Body Shop, it stood as Plotner Body Shop around 1910, owned by Everett Plotner. This was one of the earliest automotive repair shops in the area.

Plotner Body Shop was purchased by Earl Hoffman in 1947 and was then established as Hoffman Body Shop. He opened a 4-bay facility on SR 19.

In 1982, Ed Martin purchased Hoffman Body Shop. In 2005, he and the Martin family moved operations to our current 42,000sqft facility, where we continue to operate today.

We are glad to call Akron our home with more than 100 years of history behind us.
