Looks like we aren't the only community have a community sale on June 13th. Being so close to Barberton, one could make a whole day of shopping.

The Barberton City Wide Yard Sale will be held on Thursday, June 11th through Sunday, June 14th. Yard sale permits are not required for this event.

Please place a balloon at the end of the street to indicate participation.

UPDATE: I just updated the map into sections in an attempt to make it easier to get around. You can find the map pinned to the top of my profile as well as on the event page. Over the next couple weeks, I will continue to fine tune it.

We are now a little over a month out and we have 20 participants so far. Please share this event far and wide so we can get the word out - not just to those in the park, but also to those all around Akron. The more people that know about the sale, the more people that will come into our community and make everyone's sales successful. It is a win/win for both buyers and sellers.

Finally, if you are planning on participating, under the event page, you can add photos and descriptions of what you plan on selling under the "Discussion" section of the event, further getting the word out about your particular sale to encourage people to buy from you. I look forward to seeing everyone on June 13th!

Since we are now a little less than 2 months out from this year's Community Garage Sale Day, I am starting to take addresses of those who would like to participate.

Below you will find the Google map for the sale. As addresses are added, it will continue to evolve. Last year we had about 50 participants that were grouped in quadrants around the area. This will make it easier for shoppers find the sales in the area. If you would like to participate, please send me a message and I will add your address to the map. Thank you!
