Another year in the books! I hope you all had a great day of sales and finds. Until next year!

Reminder: you can post what you are selling, including photos, under the "discussion" section in the event page. It is a great resource to show what you have to potential buyers 😃

Every year I get questions on how to use the map and hopefully this video clears up any questions. To see the full video, make sure to click on it. The preview in this feed cuts off the top part of the video.

Less than 3 weeks until our Community Garage Sale Day! Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 13th! We already have 24 participants signed up and ready to sell.

I am still taking addresses to add to the list. The Google Map updates live as I add people, so if you want your house on it, drop your address in the comments below or send me a DM.

Check out the live map and plan your route here: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=13Cud0OttyV3J6l2v9l4CtPgI3no6Ye0&usp=sharing

Let’s clean out those garages and hope for great weather!

Looks like we aren't the only community have a community sale on June 13th. Being so close to Barberton, one could make a whole day of shopping.

The Barberton City Wide Yard Sale will be held on Thursday, June 11th through Sunday, June 14th. Yard sale permits are not required for this event.

Please place a balloon at the end of the street to indicate participation.

UPDATE: I just updated the map into sections in an attempt to make it easier to get around. You can find the map pinned to the top of my profile as well as on the event page. Over the next couple weeks, I will continue to fine tune it.

We are now a little over a month out and we have 20 participants so far. Please share this event far and wide so we can get the word out - not just to those in the park, but also to those all around Akron. The more people that know about the sale, the more people that will come into our community and make everyone's sales successful. It is a win/win for both buyers and sellers.

Finally, if you are planning on participating, under the event page, you can add photos and descriptions of what you plan on selling under the "Discussion" section of the event, further getting the word out about your particular sale to encourage people to buy from you. I look forward to seeing everyone on June 13th!

A little different than what I post, but it is relevant to our area if you are interested in attending.

Rain may have delayed us - but it didn’t stop us.

We’ve got a **new date: May 2nd** for our Firestone Plant One gathering, and we’ve used the extra time to make this event even more special.

Join us for a community-focused conversation about what comes next for this historic site - exploring environmental considerations, adaptive reuse possibilities, and how the community can help shape future outcomes.

Your support matters! This is a critical moment to be part of the conversation.

More details coming soon - stay tuned.

We hope to see you there.
