Good evening NASA Great Lakes TREC Teams and Drivers! We hope your final preparations for NCM have been going well and you're as ready and excited to kick off this TREC season as we all are. A quick reminder as you load your rigs and gear... check the rules for all those "required items" for your pitbox to ensure your ability to compete on Friday. Also, remember that it is mandatory that pit crew members who will be going over the pit wall, be dressed in full protective gear just like your driver. Also, this season in the intrest of saftey we are requiring all teams to have their pitbox completely set up no later than one hour prior to the start of the TREC race. This will help our pit marshals ensure that everyone has their required items on site prior to the race beginning. As always please reach out to Glen or myself with any questions.

The weather is looking great for this weekend, and we have over 50 cars entered! Come out and join us at Nelson Ledges Road Course for our Halloween Divisonal, Track Days, and Enduro! You can find all the registrations on MSR! We are also still looking for workers! Spectators are also welcome, there is a $10 fee for the weekend!

WOW! The 2023 NASA Championships will be featured at Pitt Race👌

2023 NASA Championships Coming to Pittsburgh International Race Complex

The NASA Championships is one of the marquee events of the National Auto Sport Association and moves each year to give its competitors the chance to compete across the country at the best venues in the nation. NASA has announced it is bringing its Championships to Pitt Race, September 7-10, 2023.

“The Pittsburgh International Race Complex team is excited to host the 17th Annual NASA Championship in 2023,” said Kathy Stout, co-owner of Pitt Race. “We have always enjoyed a great relationship with the organization, its members, and the participants. Our team looks forward to the event and seeing the hundreds of competitors from across the country compete at Pitt Race.”

The event will take place on the full 2.78-mile, 19-turn road course and will see some of the best amateur racers competing for a chance at being crowned a NASA National Champion.

Track First - Ohio Got some seat brackets today, messed around a little in the shop. Looking like the rest of the roof structure has to go to run this seat. Going to work out the permanent position of the seat this weekend to confirm. Overall it's in a pretty good position so we may take the hit and just make the car a little taller. Had the first proper sit in the car (sadly no camera person for that) . Things should start moving pretty quickly from this point. Watkins Glen is only about 2 months out. Hopefully this Corona Virus business is over by then.
