Thank you to everyone who came out for Friday Night Cage Fight #3 last night!
It was our first night using MyRacePass, and while there’s definitely a learning curve, it’s already clear that it’s going to be a huge upgrade for Dreamfield Speedway. Once everyone is in the system, registration, pre-registration, and lineups will be faster and easier than ever.
If you haven’t downloaded the MyRacePass app yet, do it! You’ll have lineups and race information right on your phone throughout the night.
Now, let’s talk about the live stream! We took another big step forward by running three cameras last night. We did hit a minor technical snag getting the ticker and lineups onto the broadcast. It turned out to be a compatibility issue between our streaming software and the file format MyRacePass outputs. We weren’t able to get it resolved during the event, but we’ve got it figured out now and should be ready to roll for next week’s return to our regular Friday night program.
A huge thank you to Mikal Thies, Eric Platt, and Brad Weaver for helping pour the new concrete scale pad during the break. We were able to put it into service last night! The next step is adding a carport, lighting, and a covered tech area as funds allow.
Every improvement we make is another step toward our goal: building a facility that delivers a big-league experience without the big-league price tag.
