This 7.3L came in with over 25 DTCs, and fuel smoke rolling out of the exhaust. I found a bad IDM, oil leaking out of the ICP, and CPS broke almost in 2 pieces. With those issues fixed and DTCs all taken care of, the fuel smoke is was still horrible. A compression test shows cylinder 8 is only seeing around 150psi while cranking, compared to 410-420 on the other 7. The owner of the truck knows where to buy a 12V engine, and I enjoy doing swaps! Building a Fummins might be fun!
