Hi, my name is Ben Cole and I am the owner and main teacher for My Turn to Drive. I love my work and enjoy the time I get to spend with the kids. I have been teaching for years
and would not change what I do. I do what I can to work with my student's schedules, especially
for their extracurriculars. I work closely with the schools where I teach to make the best scheduled
time for the class and r

otate around the county to accomodate everyone. For specific information feel
free to call, email, or facebook me with any questions that you may have. During the summer I also enjoy teaching motorcycle saftey classes. This is a three day class that occurs
over the weekend (Friday-Sunday). I provide training bikes and the material needed for the classroom work,
all you need is a helmet and other riding equipment. For more information about these classes just contact me
and I would be happy to give you some.

The traffic signal will be activated at the intersection of M-99 (Carleton Road) and Moore Road in front of the new Meijer on Monday, Feb. 26.
Please be advised of the change in traffic pattern.

Stay alert and be safe driving! Check out this change coming in Hillsdale!

The City of Hillsdale's Department of Public Services will soon be installing a four-way stop at the intersection of Fayette Street and North West Street. The change is expected to happen on or shortly after Monday, July 24th.

Two new stop signs with solar-powered LED blinkers will be installed on North West Street to create an all-way stop at the intersection. Stop signs already exist on Fayette Street at this location.

The change is being made at the recommendation of Hillsdale's Public Safety Committee in an attempt to curb speeding and improve safety. A review of previous traffic collisions and near-misses at the intersection was a factor in the decision.

The Hillsdale City Police Department issued Temporary Traffic Control Order 2023-29 supporting the change. The order will be in effect for 90 days, which will serve as an initial test period. If all goes well, Hillsdale City Council will then be asked to make the change permanent.

"Stop Ahead" signs with flags will be placed on all approaches to the intersection warning drivers of the new stop signs.

Drivers are asked to use caution when going through the intersection while the changeover process is in place.

When traffic lights are out, intersections should be treated as four way stops. Be courteous and patient!
