Posted • We have known for a long time now, we helped him purchase this car, and have helped him along the way with anything he has ever needed, but we always kinda had a list of to-do items to do eventually with the car.
Unfortunately Mother Nature had its own plans, and the engine got hydro locked and sucked some water into it and bent a rod / destroyed the motor.

This G37 received
- Used low mileage engine from a 370z
- Used low mileage transmission from a 370Z
- 6 puck clutch and lightweight flywheel
( This flywheel and clutch set-up by far exceeded my expectations and is amazing, highly recommend! )
- Before engine was installed, the front was torn down and and received new timing gear set, gaskets, valley gaskets, rear main seal. Top was taken apart and received all new valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, manifold gaskets and any other gasket thanks to for having all the parts in stock.
- Did a amazing job on the powder coating for the front timing cover / dip stick tube / coolant neck / motor mount brackets / idle pulley bracket
- Z1 Motorsports solid shifter bracket bushings
- Z1 Motorsports Polly Engine Mounts and Transmission mount
- Modifying motor mount for clearance for the headers
- Repositioned and secured entire exhaust system to reduce it being in tension and causing bad harmonics
Fixed some wiring and soooo much more, but the post has a caption limit 🤷

We are so proud with how the car turned out, it’s literally a completely different vehicle now and happy to be able to return it to him better than it ever was.

This is a perfect example of why we do this, why we built a shop and what drives us to keep on going. A random customer turns to a friend, we finally take his car and turn it into something he didn’t know it could be, and look forward to what is in store for the future for this G37. This is what we love, this is our passion, this is our Zeal.
