🚨Friday Highlight 🚨

For this week’s Friday Highlight, we’re featuring another truck the Town of Hanover, MA DPW trusted Blue Collar Customs to get ready for work.

This Ford Motor Company F-550 was built around versatility and year-round DPW use, featuring:
🔹 Switch-N-Go® system for a flexible, multi-purpose work truck setup
🔹 9' Fisher Snow Plows HC plow to make sure it’s ready when winter hits

Safety and visibility were handled with a full SoundOff Signal warning package:
🔹 mpower lighting for strong perimeter visibility
🔹 17" nROADS Mini Lightbar mounted on the roof for 360° coverage with an ACARI Engineering Co, No-Drill Mount for a clean, professional installation

We also made sure the truck had the storage and organization needed for day-to-day use:
🔹 Buyers Products underbody boxes provide secure and accessible exterior storage
🔹 Havis, Inc. center console keeps mounted equipment organized and the cab clean

A fresh set of Department graphics finished everything off and gave the truck the final touch before heading back to the fleet.

We appreciate the continued trust from the Town of Hanover DPW and are proud to send another truck out the door ready to work. 💪

Check out one of the Ford Motor Company Transits we just completed for Accurate Baker Elman(A.B.E.)!

This plumbing package is simple, organized, and built for daily service work. The van features a Holman HQ composite partition, interior shelving, a four-tier tank holder, and secure drawer storage. On the roof is a Prime Design single drop-down ladder rack with a conduit carrier mounted down the center.

This is one of several vehicles we’ve completed for A.B.E. as we continue working through their fleet and the fleets of their sister companies. The goal is to establish a consistent, professional standard across the entire enterprise.

The full vehicle wrap completes the package, turning every service call and every mile on the road into an opportunity to promote the A.B.E. brand.

The sneak peek earlier this week was only the beginning.

This week, Blue Collar Customs made our first delivery to Boston Logan International Airport in support of the Massachusetts Port Authority fleet.

We brought our Peterbilt Motors Company and Cottrell, Inc. carrier directly onto the airfield and delivered a batch of Ford Motor Company Mavericks ready to get to work.

As we continue to grow, one thing will never change: we genuinely love what we do. No matter how big this company gets, moments like this will always be exciting.

Being able to support the agencies that keep our home state moving is something we don’t take lightly.

But let’s be honest. Rolling a fully loaded car carrier onto the airfield at Logan with planes moving around us...

That’s pretty damn cool.

No, Ford Motor Company didn’t open a dealership inside our shop.

That’s just 10 Ford trucks in production on one side of the building.

Different customers. Different builds. Different stages of production. All being transformed into purpose-built work trucks.

We’re proud to be a Ford Pro Upfitter, and days like this make it pretty easy to see why.

So, this may not be a Ford dealership, but it is a pretty good look at what a Ford Pro Upfitter gets done.

Blue Collar Customs is proud to be a certified upfitter through Ford Pro, GM Fleet, and Ram Q-Pro. Each program is designed to identify upfitters that meet the OEM’s expectations for quality, safety, engineering, facilities, manufacturing processes, and overall technical capability.

While each program has its own specific standards and qualifying criteria, all three required a rigorous review process that included on-site facility evaluations and detailed technical assessments. Earning all three certifications reflects the trust these manufacturers have placed in our team, our facility, and the quality of our work.

Holding drop ship codes for all three OEMs also creates a major advantage for our customers. A vehicle can be factory ordered through the dealer and delivered directly to Blue Collar Customs for upfitting. Once the build is complete, we can coordinate final delivery directly to the end user.

This creates a more streamlined process with fewer handoffs, better communication, and a smoother overall experience. In many ways, Blue Collar Customs becomes an extension of the OEM, trusted to receive the vehicle, complete the upfit, perform final quality inspections, and deliver it ready to work.

We also want to thank everyone who helped us reach this point. A tremendous amount of hard work went into earning these certifications, and we truly appreciate the guidance, support, and collaboration we received along the way.
