We’re temporarily closing our Touch Free Wash while we work on an issue with our touch-free dryers. The Soft Touch is fully operational.

We’d rather a small inconvenience you a short time than deliver a wash that doesn’t meet our standards. This is a great opportunity for our Touch Free clientele to try our completely safe, Soft Touch! You will love how it cleans!

Our team is already working to get everything back up and running as quickly as possible.

💳 A Quick Self-Serve Update! 💳

We all love technology when it works properly 😅

When we opened, we tried a different credit card system in our self-serve bays. While it offered some features we liked, we found it wasn't performing the way it should due to several circumstances.

So we've made a change.

We've replaced those readers with new tap-to-pay credit card readers designed to be faster, simpler, and more reliable.

✅ Tap your card and wash. Push the button when you’re done!
✅ Apple Pay & Google Pay accepted
✅ Faster transactions
✅ More dependable operation

One important note: these new readers are tap-to-pay only and do not accept chip insert or swipe transactions.

After testing our new membership system at Buffalo Gap, we’ve now rolled it out across all Super Suds locations in Abilene!

That means your Unlimited membership now works at:
• South 14th & Sayles
• Highway 277 & Texas Ave
• North Mockingbird
• Buffalo Gap & Chimney Rock

One membership. Any location. Easy.

👉 Important:
All locations require a front license plate for membership access (just like Buffalo Gap).

We are open today! Come by and wash that salt and snow grime off! Remember that we highly recommend the SOFT TOUCH wash for getting heavy road grime off. Hopefully, moving forward with the freezes in the coming week, things will thaw faster and we will be able to open up quicker after short freezes.

❄️ After the snow comes the salt… and the grime. ❄️

Snow, road salt, and oily winter residue stick to your vehicle in a way water alone can’t always remove. While Touch-Free washes are great for maintenance washing, this type of dirty needs a Soft-Touch wash to fully wipe away the buildup.

The gentle brushes physically contact the surface, helping remove the salt film and oily residue left behind after winter weather.

⚠️ Important update:
We’re still closed due to cold temperatures and will reopen once conditions allow our equipment to safely thaw. As soon as we’re back open, this is the wash we recommend after the storm.

COLD WEATHER SHUTDOWN NOTICE ❄️

Due to the incoming cold weather, we will be closing Friday afternoon to protect both our customers and our equipment.

For everyone’s safety, we won’t reopen until temperatures stay above freezing long enough for our equipment to properly thaw. At this time, we expect to reopen Monday or Tuesday, depending on conditions.

We appreciate your patience and understanding. We’ll post updates here as soon as we’re able to safely open back up.

We found and fixed a software glitch that made it where our Super Shine wash would not start in our Touch Free lane. If you were affected in the last few days, we would be happy to take care of any charges! Just give us a call at 325-721-3528x5.

❄️Our automatic washes have a cold weather process we want to inform you about!❄️

Our automatic washes will automatically shut down anytime the temperature hits 35° or below.
That’s not us flipping a switch, that’s the system protecting pumps, pipes, chemicals, and the wash bay from freezing conditions.

Once the temperature rises back above 35°, we will re-open the wash.

We know it can be frustrating when you pull up and we’re closed, but this policy helps us avoid damage, keep you safe, and make sure we’re ready to roll the moment the weather allows.

We wish we could fight science, but we can’t!
