Supporting the National Cleaning Campaign – A Clean Uganda is Our Responsibility 🇺🇬

Today, I joined Ogwal Jimmy, Senior Technician at the Ministry of Water and Environment (MWE), Onyang Samuel, Director of Libin Cleaning Services, and other dedicated volunteers in a community clean-up exercise in Mutungo Biina, in line with the Government of Uganda's directive on the National Cleaning Days initiative.

Keeping our environment clean is a shared responsibility. Through collective action, we can build healthier, safer, and more sustainable communities for everyone.
I encourage every Ugandan to participate in the National Cleaning Day, held on the last Saturday of every month, and make a positive impact in their respective communities.
Together, let's keep Uganda clean.

Spot Check & Club Licensing Compliance – NEC FC

Today, NEC FC successfully underwent a spot check on Club Licensing compliance under the supervision of Ms. Nakagwa Shirah.

Ahead of the new season, NEC FC Academy also completed its compliance review conducted by the FUFA Development team led by Mr. Brian Umony and Ms. Faridah.

Club licensing is not merely a regulatory requirement — it reflects our commitment to professionalism, strong governance, and sustainable football development.
We appreciate the guidance and continued oversight as we strive to uphold the highest standards both on and off the pitch.

Today, I had the privilege of attending the FUFA Standing Committees Orientation at FUFA House, Kadiba.
As a member of the Competitions Committee, the session provided valuable clarity on our mandate, governance framework, operational guidelines, and expectations for the current term. The discussions emphasized integrity, compliance, coordination, and strategic ex*****on in delivering credible and competitive football structures across Uganda.
Orientation moments like this reaffirm the responsibility we carry in shaping the standards of our game.
Grateful to the FUFA leadership and Secretariat for the guidance and direction.

FUFA directed Uganda Premier League to hold funds of clubs whose Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) do not meet qualifications.

According to their Circular No. 1171, every Club Chief Executive Officer in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League were notified and required to hold a FAMACO II certificate with effect from 1st January 2024.

Of the 16 teams playing in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League only ten have CEOs that meet the set qualifications.

These were;
