Qatar Airways announced that its scheduled flight operations remain temporarily suspended due to the continued closure of Qatari airspace. The airline confirmed that normal operations will resume once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority announces the full and safe reopening of the country’s airspace.

Following temporary authorisation from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority allowing limited operating corridors, Qatar Airways plans to operate a select number of flights on March 10 to support passengers affected by the disruption and help them reach their destinations as safely and quickly as possible.

NDEGE ya Kampuni ya Ndege Tanzania (ATCL) iliyokuwa ikifanya safari kati ya Dar es Salaam na Mwanza mnamo Februari 21, 2026 ilishindwa kutua katika Uwanja wa Ndege wa Kimataifa wa Mwanza kutokana na hali mbaya ya hewa iliyokuwepo wakati wa kutua ikiwemo mawingu mazito yaliyokuwa yamefunika njia ya kutua.

Taarifa ya leo Februari 22, 2026 iliyotolewa na ATCL imeeleza kuwa Ndege hiyo aina Boeing 737-9 MAX, iliondoka katika Uwanja wa Ndege wa Kimataifa wa Julius Nyerere (JNIA) kwa safari nambari TC102, ikiwa na abiria 165 ambapo kwa kuzingatia taratibu na viwango vya usalama wa safari za anga, marubani walifanya majaribio mawili ya kutua katika Uwanja wa Mwanza bila mafanikio kutokana na hali mbaya ya hewa liyokuwepo.
