Every great transformation begins with a dream.
Back in 2016/2017, HAL and CRDB Bank began a partnership built on one bold vision from our CEO, Satbir Hanspaul: to make it possible for SMEs and Driver-Guides across Tanzania to own brand-new HAL Safari Vehicles.
At a time when access to financing for safari vehicles was one of the biggest barriers in the tourism industry, CRDB Bank became the first institution to truly believe in that vision.
Under the leadership of Abdulmajid Nsekela, CEO of CRDB Bank, and with the support of Boma, Chief Commercial Officer; Toyi, Head of Business Banking; and Kafui, Zonal Business Manager – North, a partnership was formed that helped turn ambition into opportunity for entrepreneurs across Tanzania.
Through this collaboration, businesses were built, jobs were created, families were uplifted, and Tanzania’s tourism ecosystem grew stronger.
Today, we are proud that this partnership continues to grow even further with the addition of Hanspaul Assurance and CRDB Insurance, creating an even stronger support system for entrepreneurs, businesses, and communities across the country.
