A friend in Japan recently told me about a post on Minkara (minkara.carview.co.jp), a popular Japanese car enthusiast community. Someone shared photos of their Subaru XV / Crosstrek fitted with our KAKUMEI Motorsports front lip spoiler, along with some great feedback!

Since our founding in 2000, KAKUMEI Motorsports has spent 26 years dedicated primarily to developing Subaru performance and styling parts. Back in 2018, when Subaru Taiwan launched the new XV crossover series, STI in Japan hadn’t released any aero kits for it yet. A local Taiwanese XV owner reached out to us, hoping we could design custom parts for the vehicle. The first item we developed was the front lip spoiler, followed by our rear upper add-on spoiler and mid-spoiler.

Back in 2018, the Crosstrek / XV was considered a niche model in the Subaru lineup, and very few aftermarket brands were willing to develop parts for it. Driven by our passion for cars and a commitment to meeting customer demand, the KAKUMEI team took on the challenge. To our delight, these products became hugely popular in both the US and Japan—with the front lip spoiler turning into a massive bestseller in Japan!

Developed in 2018, this add-on spoiler has been a fan favorite for Crosstrek/XV owners. It comes pre-painted in piano black, making it completely ready to install right away!

This is the first product we make for 2022-2023 WRX VB. Subaru Taiwan will sell this car till the end of year 2023. In order to make this item, we order a stock bumper from Japan! Compare to the previous models such as VAB or GDB, the VB rear bumper is much bigger. Only the international shipping cost near USD 1500 to Taiwan!

I am glad this 2022-2023 rear bumper heat shield set has done! Japan STI Exhaust Finisher (GENUINE) is made of stainless steel. Our product is heat resistance ABS with coating. The first production we total make 30 sets. The installation will be the same as the JDM STi heat shield.

First shipment of Carbon Fiber has arrived! 10 sets! What we have here are fog light covers for the 18+ wrx/sti. They come with stainless steel hardware, a free drill bit to drill the holes into your fog light bezel and they will also come with a choice of sti red/pink stickers or sti white stickers. Also BOTH sides are carbon fiber. The outside that is displayed is gloss and the inside that people can’t see is matte but still a cool feature!
