With KESS3 and Powergate, you can now read and write directly via OBD on 1.5L and 2.0L B37 and B47 diesel engines equipped with Bosch MD1CS001 “Locked” ECUs.
The first step remains the ECU unlock, which you can perform independently using the dedicated BENCH protocol, already available. Once the Unlock has been completed, you can continue with reading and writing directly through the diagnostic port.
This makes subsequent operations faster and, if you are a Powergate Manager, you can extend the service to your End-Users and manage customized files and configurations remotely.
This release is the first in a series of developments dedicated to these ECUs.
The new protocols are available to KESS3 users with CAR OBD + BENCH/BOOT activation and an active subscription.
