The ANSA McAL Group is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with IDB Invest, the private sector arm of the IDB Group, to support investments in key productive sectors across the region. This represents IDB Invest's largest financing commitment in the Caribbean to date.

The facility will help expand industrial capacity, strengthen supply chains and support economic growth in manufacturing, logistics, recycling, distribution and supply chain infrastructure.

For Trinidad and Tobago, where expanding economic activity remains an important national priority, this partnership will deepen regional trade linkages and support productive investment.

The future of the Caribbean won't be shaped by one organisation alone.
It will take governments, businesses, development partners and communities working together to build a region that is more resilient, more connected and more sustainable.

That was the focus of the inaugural Caribbean Economic Forum, held in Barbados exactly three weeks ago, where leaders from across government and business spent two days advancing a shared agenda on investment, growth and regional development.

For ANSA McAL, it was an important opportunity to be part of these conversations, as a diversified regional group with a long-standing commitment to investing across the Caribbean. Our Group CEO and Group Chief Strategy Officer represented ANSA McAL, sharing their perspectives on the region’s most pressing opportunities and challenges.

Congratulations to Craig La Croix on his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of BLEACHTECH LLC., effective 1 July 2026.

A member of the ANSA McAL Group since 2005, Craig has held senior leadership roles across our Construction and Manufacturing Sectors, most recently serving as Managing Director of ANSA Chemicals.

When communities are faced with unimaginable challenges, standing together matters.

As rebuilding efforts get underway following the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela, ANSA Motors Guyana is contributing two pieces of heavy equipment to assist with reconstruction in the communities most affected. A Backhoe Loader and a Skid Steer Loader, valued at USD$124,555, will be transported to Venezuela aboard a vessel scheduled to sail today, Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

The equipment was delivered on Saturday to meet the scheduled shipping timeline and forms part of a national relief shipment of 88 containers organised by the Government of Guyana, alongside contributions from regional governments and private sector partners.
