The Kia Sorento that was previously done at another auto repair shop is now refinished at us D & L Auto . All the issues the vehicle came with that was highlighted in the previous video were addressed and repaired which included:
✅Proper disassembly and reassembly of all glass , trims, moldings,signs, lighting ,etc.
✅Repairs to the dents and ripples on the body
✅Proper Paint finish
✅Paint corrections and color sanding
✅Respray on all black trims and finishers
✅Calipers resprayed
✅Lights tinted lightly as per customers request

This vehicle was done using a complete Sikkens refinish system from primer, paint and clear coat.

The owner can now enjoy his vehicle just in time for the Christmas season and the new year ahead .

Customer brought in his Kia Sorento that he had repainted a few months ago at another auto repair shop. The vehicle was repainted in a pearl white color changed from a silver . The owner was dissatisfied and disappointed with the work done at the PREVIOUS garage and this video shows the work that was done . Note the issues the vehicle came with :
➡️ Extreme amounts of clear coat runs on the entire vehicle
➡️Overspray and discoloration on door panels
➡️flaking of paint on body panels and doors due to wrong preparation
➡️Improper disassembly for painting
➡️Dents and damaged were not repaired
➡️All trims were not resprayed properly
➡️Paint contained large amounts of orange peel and imperfections

Note: the work that was done only occurred a few months prior and this is what it looked like.

Land Rover Freelander got a complete overhaul just in time for the Christmas season🎄.
The vehicle came in with some issues that were addressed which included:
➡️Discoloration due to fading of the clear coat
➡️Dents and damage to the body
➡️Reallignment of body panels
This entire vehicle was disassembled and all black trims from glass, rubbers and moldings were removed before work started .
After repairs were finished the body was sealed with proper primer before paint was layered which was then followed by Sikkens HS clear coat .
The results were remarkable and the owner beyond satisfied.
