We will assist you in sourcing your desired vehicle from the dealership in japan that we work with.. This is how ordering your vehicle will work with our assistance:
1. The customer, (that’s you
), would contact us expressing your desire to purchase and import your choice of vehicle from Japan.
2. We would then meet with you and present some available choices based on your preferences if available. Once you have made your choice, the next step is to reserve your vehicle and pay for it. To reserve your chosen vehicle, we will notify our dealer in Japan. (Please note a vehicle can only be reserved for a maximum of (6) days no more.) We would also need the following information from you as well: full name, national identification number, drivers license info, contact info, board of inland revenue number. This information is to secure the vehicle you chose, for you and to clear the vehicle when it lands in Trinidad.
3. Once the vehicle is reserved, payment for the vehicle must be made by the third day of the reservation. This is to ensure that your payment for your chosen vehicle arrives to the dealer in time; that is before the 6 day reservation period expires. We will also send a copy of the wire transfer document showing the payment has been made to the dealer in japan. When we receive your payment, the very same day your payment clears, we send a wire transfer to our dealer, pending on banking hours. It takes up to three business days to process the wire transfer.
4. After our dealer receives full payment for your vehicle. They would then prepare your vehicle for shipment to Trinidad and Tobago. Your vehicle will be reserved and ordered in your name. The trip from Japan to Trinidad and Tobago takes 30 – 40 days max.
5. When it arrives on the port in Trinidad and Tobago, we will clear your vehicle for you, get it inspected and registered. Payments are done in parts as they are needed. We will collect each payment on time. This will ensure we can pay all clearance, registration, broker and inspection fees on time. For insurance you can use any company you feel comfortable with, we however work with an agent from Sagicor General. All documents pertaining to purchase and registration of your desired vehicle that requires your information and approval, will be provided to you for you to fill out and approve. We will submit them accordingly. We look forward to assisting you with acquiring your vehicle.
