Holy Week is already here upon us, and a high number of road users are now planning to travel back home to their provinces. In such events, expect heavy traffic on our streets and expressways. As traffic congestion began to rise, drivers tempers also began to rise.

One of the defensive driving tips is to avoid road rage. Road rage causes severe stress that often ends up in misunderstandings between fellow motorists that can result in a road collision. Staying calm and focusing on your own actions is an essential aspect of resisting road rage and will help you avoid unwanted situations from escalating.

Before driving, always pack a lot of patience and be calm at all times. Remember that everyone makes errors, and some drivers may not be aware that their actions are creating displeasure. They may be having a difficult day or coping with personal concerns that interfere with their driving. Instead of reacting forcefully, try to sympathize with their circumstances. Always think that there are people waiting for you to get home safely.

DRIVE SAFELY. DRIVE PATIENTLY.
