As Kaunos Tours our mission is to ensure with helpful, experienced and friendly staff that all of you

Kaunos Tours was founded in 1993 in the small village of Dalyan in the South-West region of Turkey as a small tourism business for car rental, motorbike and bicycle rentals. In 1995, a franchise agreement was signed with the high standard and quality car rental organisation Europcar and started to provide the Dalyan area with a professional car rental service. The same year, Kaunos Tours introduce

d guided mountain bike tours to explore the Dalyan vicinity; it became a licensed tour operator a year later. The first web site of Dalyan has been designed by Kaunos Tours and is on line since 1997. On line bookings for accommodations, airport transfers, car rentals and package tours became real for Dalyan. Over the past 15 years, new tours have been introduced such as jeep safari, road cycling, canyoning, seakayaking, rafting, trekking and various boat tours and package tour arrangements have been made with several foreign tour operators. Today, Kaunos Tours serves as an experienced tour operator organising a variety of daily and multi-day outdoor adventures, private cultural trips and relaxed tours in the area and as a professional tourism company offering car-rental, transfer and accommodation services.

✨ Continuing to explore the amazing sides of Türkiye ✨

Our journey took us through places that feel like different worlds, each carrying hidden stories, remarkable history, and unforgettable landscapes. We are so happy to share these beautiful experiences with you.

In Konya, we discovered the spiritual path of Mevlana and the fascinating tradition of the Whirling Dervishes. In Cappadocia, we explored valleys, fairy chimneys, rock dwellings, and the mysterious underground city, where history feels alive in every corner. The region’s churches, iconography, and early Christian heritage reveal how geography and human life shaped one another for centuries. Formed by ancient volcanic eruptions, Cappadocia truly feels like another planet, with its extraordinary landscape and silent witnesses of time.

Our adventure continued in Antalya, where we visited the iconic ancient theatre of Aspendos and the breathtaking Düden Waterfall, where fresh water meets the Mediterranean Sea in one of the most picturesque settings in Türkiye.

We’ve just returned from a truly special journey through Eastern Türkiye 🌄✨

Filled with breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and vibrant culture, where every moment revealed a remarkable harmony of nature and heritage. From ancient sites to stunning scenery, each experience brought new memories, flavours, and perspectives to cherish, while the laughter, shared moments, and sense of discovery made it all truly meaningful.

Last March, we attended the 16th Annual Europcar Licensees and Offices Meeting held in Kayseri. As the Dalyan office, we are incredibly proud and happy to have been honored with the "High Customer Satisfaction Award." 🏆

During this productive event:
🤝 We expanded our professional network by connecting with licensees from all over Turkey.
We attended insightful presentations by Europcar CEO, Mr. Fırat Fidan.
We participated in workshops designed to further improve our business and service quality.

Our recent journey through the heart of Anatolia felt like walking through a living story.

Over the past days we walked through landscapes carved by wind, faith and memory. We wandered among silent stones that have witnessed ancient kingdoms, stood beside lakes reflecting the sky as if nothing has changed for centuries, and followed the footsteps of people who shaped a nation. 🏔️

There were moments of deep history, moments of reflection, and moments of simple joy, sharing stories in old streets, climbing ancient paths, and feeling the spirit of Anatolia all around us. ✨

From valleys shaped by nature and myth, to places where the foundations of a modern country were laid, every stop reminded us that this land carries layer upon layer of civilisation, courage and culture. 🏛️

Travel like this is not only about seeing places; it is about feeling the soul of a region, connecting past and present, and sharing those experiences together.
