Even a beautifully kept 30–40-year-old Mercedes can hide corrosion behind glass and interior panels. Some areas only reveal their condition when you take things apart.

When buying one, we look for correct original components, proper workmanship and a straight, structurally sound body without major accident damage. A part that fits isn’t always the right part.

This car arrived well cared for. Investigating water entering the front cabin revealed more hidden corrosion—a reminder that maintenance and age are two different things.

We’re repairing the affected areas around the front and rear glass, boot lid and firewall behind the battery. The priority is addressing water ingress, then returning the car for its owner to enjoy. A full restoration can follow in stages.
