HGT “MUST HAVE” SPARE PARTS DEAL!
When we set up our company, product reliability was our key consideration.
In the market our philosophy has meant that many of our customers have had their HGT Sequential Gearbox running for 7 years and have never purchased a spare part!
However; gearboxes are a mechanical item- they get pushed hard in Motorsport, every part has a lifetime, and in motorsport one should always anticipate.
So, we’ve prepared a basic spare parts kit to “get you going” in the event of something happening in mid week practice or on race day, and there’s not enough time to order parts in from us.
This is not a total gearbox rebuild kit, rather some of the key parts that fit into the heavy load category, or that are prone to high wear/damage when there’s “less than ideal” shift technique caused by either out of sync hand/foot co-ordination, or an incorrect torque reduction/reapplication strategy in the ECU when using either a Shift Cut K**b or Paddle Shift.
And then there’s just plain and simple physical wear based on torque application over time i.e. nothing lasts forever!
