A few familiar faces doing their bit for Phuket’s coastline 🌊

On Friday, 28 August, the Clearvac team joined fellow volunteers at Tawanron Beach in Wichit for a beach clean-up. Together, they collected litter from the sand, cleared rubbish from around the mangroves and tackled some larger debris along the shoreline.

The event was organised by the Industrial Factories Group, Phuket Provincial Industry Office, under the Environmental Conservation Industry Network Project, encouraging local businesses to take an active part in caring for the environment.

For our team, it was a chance to get involved, meet other volunteers and help look after a place close to home. The photos say plenty about the spirit of the day.

Inside M/Y Forwin’s galley, extraction ducting shows exactly why surface cleaning is not enough. 🔥

Grease continues to accumulate inside the system, beyond sight and beyond the reach of routine galley cleaning. As the deposits build, airflow becomes restricted and the risk of fire spreading beyond the galley increases.

Our team is on board carrying out the yacht’s annual galley and laundry ‘Fire Risk Removal’ service. The ducting is professionally cleaned and disinfected, with the completed work reported and a certificate issued.

Hidden build-up removed. Ducting restored. Fire risk reduced.

Back in the water.

M/Y Lady Azul has been relaunched from the Ratanachai Shipyard slipway following a complete running gear overhaul, essential maintenance and hull repairs by Clearvac Engineering Asia.

From haul-out through to relaunch, our team completed the work needed below the waterline to return the yacht to service in strong condition.

Another successful project delivered in Phuket.

Hull plating repairs were carried out in Ratanachai Shipyard, Phuket, as part of the vessel’s refit and repair programme.

Access, preparation, weld quality and finish all count.

When the hull is open, there is no room for guesswork.

Before a valve goes back into service, it needs to be tested properly.

At the Clearvac Engineering Asia workshop in Phuket, our team regularly carries out Hydro testing to check valve performance under controlled conditions.

This helps confirm sealing, identify leaks, and verify that the component is ready to return to a vessel system.

Practical workshop engineering like this plays an important role in onboard reliability. Small components can have a big impact when they are part of a critical marine system.

Marine Air Conditioning System Services: M/Y CLOUD 9 is a beautiful yacht, and for the people who live and work onboard, she is also home.

Clearvac Engineering Asia recently carried out air hygiene services onboard in Phuket, covering HVAC duct cleaning, fan coil disinfection, galley and laundry extraction cleaning, and ozone treatment.

This kind of work has to be done carefully. Interiors need protecting, access needs planning, and every space has to be treated with respect.
