First, kidnap a potato, whisper your deepest secrets to it, and then throw it into a pot.
Don’t worry — the potato knows what it did.
Ingredients:
* 500 g beef
* 2 onions
* 3 potatoes
* 2 tablespoons paprika
* 2 cloves of garlic
* 1 tablespoon tomato paste
* 500 ml water or beef stock
* salt and pepper
* a little oil
* 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
Instructions:
1. Cut the beef into small pieces.
2. Chop the onions and fry them in oil until golden.
3. Add the beef and cook until it turns brown.
4. Take the pot off the heat and add the paprika. Mix well.
5. Add garlic, tomato paste, caraway seeds, salt and pepper.
6. Pour in the water or beef stock.
7. Cover the pot and cook slowly for about 1.5–2 hours.
8. Add the chopped potatoes and cook for another 20–30 minutes.
9. When the meat is soft and the sauce is thick, your strange little masterpiece is ready.
10. Serve hot with bread.
