Remember I've recently bought 10 abandoned Ford Es**rts, right?😅

This time we'll finally start getting the poor es**rts to their new home. 🏠

First we'll tackle these two beautiful mk2 2-doors. Just how bad are they and how difficult will it be to move them? 🙆‍♂️

I'm not expecting ANY trouble. 🤣😄

Yo, Another CPS (crankshaft position sensor) bracket just dropped!😊

This one is made to fit MARELLI inductive CPS sensor on Ford V6 Cologne engines, as usually, nicely tucked in and safe from any possible collisions.✅

It allows for fine tuning the gap between the trigger wheel and the sensor even. 👌

This one is going into a TVR S1 build to a friend in Sweden, I didn't even know the good ol' Ford Cologne engine was put in such sporty cars originally! Very cool!😎

Of course, there had to be an encoder wheel fitted to the back of the harmonic balancer also, which I supplied too. ⚙️

There is only a couple simple machining operations to be done to the pulley to to fit it on there. ⚙️🫡

The largest version of Ford Transit Mk1 is almost the same size as Land Rover Series 2! 😁

Really nice to see these two oldtimers sat together. One ready to go, other in need of some work.🙂

A bit sad to see, but this little Es**rt had to go. 🥲

Please don't get me started on how it could be saved and how we're wrecking a good car, although it really was a cool easy ride. 😔 (Obviously wasn't riding easy enough on the last drive 😈)

A good carburetted car is getting rare nowadays and this low mileage 1.3 engine will be perfect for a bit of comparison to older es**rt Kent - Crossflow engines in the name of science. 🧐🙂

It will make a good parts donor, and many parts will go to good use. Including the engine of course.

Moving on with the Sapphire 4x4 project!💎🔴😊

This time we'll quickly go over the existing wiring in the Sierra and take a look at what's involved in wiring in a standalone ECU - engine control unit! 💻⚡

How do the two electrical sistems interfere and what do you actually need to wire in there to make a standalone ECU work? 🤔

We'll take a look at how I installed some fuses and relays, custom engine wiring loom and even some safety features!🦺👍

Carrying on with the work on the mk1 4-door es**rt we sorted out the engine bay as well as the boot. 🙂

It's all in nice deep blue now. 🔵🦈😁

Pictures really don't do it justice and we're really happy with how the colour turned out.👌

Can't wait to get the whole car painted. It will be a beauty! 🤩🥰

Alright, it's about time I tell you the story about how one goes out and buys 10 Ford Es**rts outright. 😎💰 😄

In this one I'll try and explain the basic motives for such action and justify why it was destined to be and how now I've got a bunch of Ford Es**rts on my hands. 😅😁

I'll talk a little about my retro Ford obsession and where it all came from even.😅🚀

But we really have to figure out what we're gonna do with all these cars.🤔

Wow, that's a first! 😯🧐

Preparing the mk1 es**rt for painting, we noticed the old paint could simply be wiped off with a cloth and some paint thinner!🤔🤔🤔

Turns out this little car has been originally painted blue and not "poo brown" as some people so nicely put it. 💩😄

Decision has been made. 🤝

We'll be making it cool, bright and vibrant.

"AZURE BLUE" it is! 🪄🔵😎

Still gotta paint it, though. 🫠

During spring cleaning we found this rare original ZENDER Ford Sierra rear wing. ✈️😎

It'll fit any 2 door Sierra (mk1, mk2) and it does add up to quite a naughty look, I might add.😏😍
