IK SPORT je vodilno podjetje v Sloveniji in regiji na področju avtomobilskega športa. Naša ponudba obsega podporo voznikom in ekipam, vzdrževanje, predelavo in pripravo tekmovalnih avtomobilov pred in na tekmovanjih, prodajo opreme, delov in pnevmatik ter ostale storitve, ki jih najdete na naši spletni strani. Podjetje je bilo ustanovljeno leta 2007 na podlagi 20 letnih izkušenj sodelovanja v avto

mobilskem športu. Na začetku smo se ukvarjali izključno z uvozom in prodajo tekmovalne opreme in delov. V letu 2009 smo ponudbo razširili na organizacijo in izvedbo dogodkov povezanih z avtomobili in avtomobilskim športom za individualne naročnike, podjetja in agencije. V tem letu smo kupili tudi svoje prvo dirkalno vozilo, ki smo ga ponudili v najem za tekmovanja različnim voznikom. V zadnjih petih letih smo našo ponudbo bolj ali manj uspešno širili na vseh treh področjih: Racing, Trgovina in Dogodki v Sloveniji in tujini. V letu 2012 smo Racing program razširili tudi z delavnico za servisiranje in predelavo tekmovalnih in športnih vozil, kjer trenutno stalno skrbimo za 8 tekmovalnih vozil v delavnici in na tekmovanjih. Letošnje, že 8 leto našega obstoja pa je predvsem čas za pripravo novih in izboljšanje že obstoječih storitev in prodajnih programov, katerih cilj je predvsem širjenje naše ponudbe na domačem trgu in v tujini. IK SPORT is leading company in Slovenia and region in the field of motor sport. Our offer includes support for drivers and teams, maintenance, processing and preparation of racing cars before and on competitions, equipment sales, parts and tires and other services that can be found on our website. The company was founded in 2007 based on 20 years of experience of participation in motor sport. At the beginning we were dealing exclusively with the import and sale of racing equipment and parts. In 2009, we expanded offer to the organization and implementation of events related to cars and automotive sport for individual customers, businesses and agencies. This year we also bought our first racing car, which was offered for rent for rallyes to different drivers. In the last five years, our offer was more or less successfully expanded in all three main areas: Racing, Shop and Events in Slovenia and abroad. In 2012, we expanded Racing program with a workshop for servicing and processing of racing and sports cars, where we currently preparing arround 8 different racing cars for the competitions. This year's 8 year of our existence is primarily time to prepare new and improve existing services and sales programs aimed primarily to spread our offer on the domestic market and abroad. IK SPORT is located in Slovenia, which provides a favorable geographical location and advanced logistics system to work effectively with clients throughout the European Union.

It's easy to evaluate when things are going well.

It becomes more difficult when the car is scrapped and expectations are in the ditch.

We had never been better prepared before the first Junior ERC round in Sweden.

Karl Peder and Sunniva had done a very good job beforehand.
The team around had also delivered very well.

The test was good.
The notes were good.
The atmosphere in the team was good.

Then we scrapped the car on shakedown.

It is quite fascinating how quickly several months of work can be turned into scrap heaps and rather heavy phone calls.

And believe me:

It gets very quiet in the service park when all the other cars leave to start the rally – while your own gets back on the truck bed of a tow truck.

It is also in such moments that you find out if evaluation actually matters.

Because it is quite easy to evaluate when things are going well.

It becomes significantly more difficult when:
- The car is scrap
- The budget takes a beating
- And the whole team feels the disappointment

Then it quickly becomes tempting to say:
"That's how it happens."
"Marginal error."
"Bad luck."

But if you stop there, you probably learn little and slower than your competitors.

One of the first things we said in the sports meeting after the rally was therefore:

"We can't just sweep this under the rug and say the error was marginal. The consequences were great. We must be able to learn something from this."

Ever since the start of EVEN Management, we have spent a lot of time developing sports meetings and evaluation systems around the team.

We do not believe that good systems make us flawless.

But we have experienced how quickly learning can disappear if it is not followed up over time.

A new race will be prepared.
The phone rings and the calendar fills up.

And suddenly the evaluation is just in a folder that no one opens again until you happen to find it while looking for something completely different.

We have therefore become more and more concerned with one thing:

Learning speed.

Not just learning.
But to learn faster than others.

If you make the same mistakes long enough, you usually lose out to those who learn faster.

That simple.
And so brutal.

But even with good systems, mistakes still happen.

At least we haven't found the magic "avoid all mistakes" button yet.
Feel free to let me know if anyone has it.

The goal is to:
- Reduce errors
- Detect them faster
- and increase the speed of learning over time

For us, good evaluations start with a few pretty simple things:
- Clear goals
- facts rather than feelings
- Honesty in the culture
- concrete measures

In order to get honest evaluations, I often say that honesty must be earned.

There must be security.
And there must be mutual respect.

The interesting thing is perhaps not who makes the fewest mistakes.

But which environments manage to:
- learn the fastest
- Adjust smartest
- and keep the learning alive over time

Because there will be more mistakes.

The only question is what to do afterwards.

How do you work with evaluation and follow-up over time?

Because in the end, it's really quite simple:

It is not your experience that determines how good you become.

That's what you learn from it.
