4ÉME SALON DES VÉHICULES INTERMÉDIAIRES
Dear Velocar friends,
The most important exhibition of the industry will be held in Rennes (France) between September 21-22, where as a member of AVELI and a participant of Extreme Défi I had the opportunity to present the Velocar to professional circles.
As many of you know, I got here on my own, but I stopped a year ago because my work was no longer enough to move forward, I also needed money.
And I don’t have that.
There were many good opportunities, a free stand: to transport the Velocar from Slovenia, from the farm where I live, to one of the countries of Western Europe, would have required several thousand euros.
Now that has changed, because thanks to the support of a kind-hearted Velocar friend, Frederik, I can get to Rennes!
I guess many of you are wondering why someone who doesn’t even have a few thousand euros is developing a vehicle? Well, this is Eastern Europe, my friends!
So, now I will finally meet the colleagues whose work I have been observing from afar.
The trip will look like this: me and my excellent sculptor colleague and friend Laci Zeke (who will be my French interpreter and travel companion) will put the Velocar on the roof of my 24-year-old Renault Twingo, fasten it tightly, and set off on the smallest roads, avoiding the Alps from the North, at a speed of about 60-70 km/h. We will bring a tent, sleeping bag, etc., we have to get there a day before the exhibition, so we will leave on the 17th.
I don’t have the exact itinerary yet, but if I do, I will share it here too, maybe we can meet along the way!
