At our recent Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument® (HBDI) workshop, colleagues took a closer look at their individual thinking preferences and discovered how these can influence the way we communicate, approach challenges, make decisions and collaborate with others.

The HBDI is one of the tools that PSA uses to develop its staff to their fullest potential – guiding the way we connect and collaborate.

Through a mix of discussions, self-reflection and hands-on activities, participants were encouraged not only to recognise their own strengths, but also to appreciate the different perspectives around them. Because effective collaboration is not about thinking alike. It is about bringing different ways of thinking together, challenging ourselves to look beyond our natural preferences, and making better decisions as a team.

By embracing different perspectives and developing our ability to think more holistically, we can unlock new possibilities in the way we work – and achieve more together, with pride. 💙

The best way to recharge is to slow down and get creative. 🎨✨

Our colleagues recently came together for an art-jamming workshop, where they explored basic painting techniques while creating their own personalised tote bags. Beyond expressing their creativity, the session also highlighted how art can be a simple yet effective way to relieve stress and support our mental well-being.

At PSA Marine, we believe that looking after our well-being is just as important as looking after the work we do. Here’s to creating a healthier, more supportive workplace – one brushstroke at a time. 💙

National Day celebrations would not be complete without our annual Durians & Fruits Gala!

Earlier this week, our colleagues came together once again for an evening of creamy durians, refreshing tropical fruits and good company.

In true Singaporean style, teams put their best “agaration” (colloquial slang for ‘estimation’) skills to the test as they guessed the weights of various fruits, including a whole durian and a bag of mangosteens.

As Singapore celebrates 61 years of progress, the gathering was a timely reminder that it is the spirit of togetherness and teamwork that enables us to keep moving forward and go beyond, both as a nation and as .

In June, our Fleet teams came together for a ship-shore emergency response drill, where realistic scenarios challenged participants to think on their feet, make critical decisions under pressure, and work together as a team.

Through regular training and hands-on exercises like these, we continue to equip our people with the confidence, skills, and experience to respond when it matters most – because keeping our people and operations safe will always be our top priority. 💙
