What was done:
✅Valve clearances - 16x shim replacement!
✅Cam Chain Tensioner replacement!

What is Valve clearance?
When it comes to the smoothe and efficient functioning of an internal combustion engine, one CRUCIAL aspect of engine performance is valve clearance.
-Valve clearance refers to the small gap between the valve stem & the rocker arm OR camshaft.
-Valve clearances is measured during the engines compression stroke when both Intake & exhaust valves are closed.
-In an engine, valves play a vital role in regulating the flow of AIR & FUEL into the combustion chamber, having the wrong clearances will affect the engines overall performances!

When you send in your bike for VC here at TLR, we make sure to check and replace all 16x shims!
All shims / clearances will be noted down and notified/sent to the owner!

Yamaha MT-10

Customer came in to change his fuel pump assembly!

A faulty fuel pump on a Yamaha MT-10 will show several distinct symptoms. Since the MT-10's CP4 engine is a high-performance, high-compression motor, it is very sensitive to correct fuel pressure and volume.
-Difficulty starting or long crank times
-Sputtering or power loss at high RPM / under load
-Sudden loss of power & engine stalling
-Engine hesitation, surging, or unsteady Idle

Facing any of these symptoms?
