How many times must you be subjected to layoffs?

The truth is, nothing truly determines your rice bowl unless:
✅ You are self-employed (with the right formula and guidance), or
✅ You’ve created such value in yourself that you are not replaceable.

Skills mismatch is real — but are we chasing the right thing?
Many of us chase what we think we are good at. But the truth? Sometimes, it’s just chasing a wild goose.
What we think we’re good at and what we really want can be two very different things. Face it: upgrading your skills is good, but knowing where you truly stand — and what you’re genuinely capable of — is the reality check.
Why would a company want to hire you? What do they see in you?
👉 If you’re young — you’re often seen as inexperienced.
👉 If you’re older — you might be seen as too expensive or "past your peak" for certain roles.
That’s the paradox.
So the real question is: will you keep letting others decide your fate… or will you start taking control of it yourself?
