COE Update – August 2026, 2nd Bidding Results

The latest COE bidding exercise has concluded, with mixed movements across the categories this round.

Category A: $128,501 (▲ $4,611)
Category B: $131,001 (▲ $1,091)
Category C: $90,002 (▼ $1,543)
Category D: $11,301 (▲ $798)
Category E: $135,000 (▲ $4,000)

Following the close of the 19 August 2026 COE bidding exercise, premiums increased across Categories A, B, D and E, while Category C (Commercial Vehicles) saw a decrease of $1,543, bringing the premium down to $90,002.

For businesses looking to expand or renew their commercial fleets, the lower Category C premium could present an opportunity to secure a COE at a more favourable cost. If you're considering making the switch to electric commercial vehicles, now is a good time to explore your options and plan ahead.

The latest COE bidding exercise has concluded, with mixed movements across all categories this round.

🔹 Category A: $123,890 (▼ $2,110)
🔹 Category B: $129,910 (▲ $20)
🔹 Category C: $91,545 (▼ $2,344)
🔹 Category D: $10,503 (▲ $301)
🔹 Category E: $131,000 (▲ $1,029)

📊 Following the close of the 5 August 2026 COE bidding exercise, premiums declined for Categories A and C, with Category C (Commercial Vehicles) recording the largest drop of $2,344. Meanwhile, Categories B, D, and E registered slight increases.

📊 Following the close of the COE bidding exercise on 22 July 2026, COE premiums eased for Categories A, B, and C, with Category C (Commercial Vehicles) falling by $1,111. Meanwhile, Categories D and E recorded marginal increases.

📊 Following the close of the COE bidding exercise on 8 July 2026, COE premiums increased across all categories. Categories A and B recorded the largest gains, while Category C (Commercial Vehicles) also saw a notable increase of $1,999, reflecting continued demand within the commercial vehicle sector.

The latest COE bidding exercise has concluded, with premiums easing across most categories this round.

🔹 Category A: $123,847 (▼ $2,162)
🔹 Category B: $123,502 (▼ $3,487)
🔹 Category C: $93,001 (▼ $999)
🔹 Category D: $9,989 (▼ $11)
🔹 Category E: $129,002 (▲ $2)

📊 Following the close of the 2nd June 2026 bidding exercise on 17 June 2026, most COE categories recorded declines, led by Categories A and B with the largest drops. Commercial vehicle COEs (Category C) also saw a modest decrease, while Category D remained relatively stable.

📈 Category E was the only category to edge higher, rising by just $2, reflecting continued demand in the open category.

The next COE bidding exercise will take place from 6 July 2026 to 8 July 2026.

Here’s where the latest COE premiums stand:
🔹 Category A: $126,009 (▲ $1,780)
🔹 Category B: $126,989 (▼ $2,512)
🔹 Category C: $94,000 (▲ $1,777)
🔹 Category D: $10,000 (▲ $311)
🔹 Category E: $129,000 (▼ $1,000)
COE premiums continued to trend upwards across most categories in this exercise, with Categories A and B posting notable increases. 📈
Category C also saw a steady rise, reflecting sustained demand within the commercial vehicle sector. Meanwhile, Category E was the only category to register a decline, easing by $1,000 from the previous bidding exercise.
