Yup the culprit is the electrical kit on the valve body that cause the fault on my previous post.

Different ppl call it differently. Some call it transmission control unit, Audi called it transmission PCB. We call it electrical kit perhaps we got the name of this part from W212.

Process is pretty much the same as the predecessor. Nothing to worry about.

Something new to us just came up. First time encountering this.
I always thought only Audi got this infamous "cannot reverse" gearbox issue. Never expect a 3 year old W213 with low mileage to got it.

Well should be the valve body issue. Update on this issue tomorrow.

Cracked Intake pipe is common in our BMW wear and tear list and with our humid climate, wear and tear will be faster.

Changing another rubber Hose is going to expect the same wear and tear in a couple of years later.

That's why we propose changing to FTP intake made of Aluminum as a form of preventive maintenance.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results. If you replace the same part and expect no more wear and tear, that will be insanity. Why not change to FTP to prevent it.

What's the difference between these two alternator.

Same brand with a Mercedes logo will cost you almost twice the price. The one with Mercedes logo is Mercedes original part made by Valeo. The one without was also manufactured by Valeo with everything identical. At times, you are paying more just for the logo on the sticker which is not necessary.

A client called and told me his Auxiliary battery needs to be replaced for his W205.

He went to his regular workshop who can't locate where the Auxiliary battery is. That is because W205 don't use the usual Aux battery like it's predecessor W204.

For some other workshop may quote the traditional Auxiliary battery which is cheaper than Voltage Converter which W205 uses as Aux battery.

Well, at times you need a workshop who repair Mercedes everyday to know how to service your Mercedes better.

Car can't crank, can't start. Some may thought battery, some thought starter, some read online and got many different solutions and advices.
Owner went to other workshop and was advised to change door lock.
Towed to us and managed to discover faults related to CAS module.
It is also our first time to encounter this fault but it doesn't hinder us to resolve the weird issue within a day.
