And while we were there we wasted no time with the delectable Japanese snacks and interesting mocktails (law-abiding citizens huh). But if you are not driving, we'd highly recommend the cocktails too.

This beautiful is an uncommon (almost) classic that drives ever so beautifully and the (old) adage that is king remains very relevant every time I redline it (always brings a smile to my face).

Although this is a 2-door sport hatch, it can seat up to 3 adults in the back seat with pretty decent leg and boot space.

The fuel consumption of this little pocket rocket 🚀 deserves a standing ovation (don't you dareeee compare this with the hybrids okay).

The 2016 Scirocco runs a 1.4 TSI engine matched with a 7-speed gearbox pushes approximately 120bhp and 200Nm of torque. Although not quite the boyracer its predecessor was, the facelifted formula is still a decent performer in corners, its power delivery is smoother thanks to the improvements to the 7-speed gearbox.
