π¨ WE'RE BACK... and this one was a proper plot twist. π
Meet this 2019 Porsche Cayenne 3.0 Tiptronic that rolled into our workshop with the check engine light on, stuck in limp mode, and timing that was completely out of sync.
Mileage? **144,000km**. Honestly, that's not even crazy for a Porsche of this age.
People always ask, "Is low mileage everything?"
Our answer? **Buying a used car is like buying a luxury watch.** It might look perfect on the outside... but you never know what's happening inside until you open it up. βπ§
So we tore the engine down...
And then we found the real culprit. π€¦ββοΈ
Some *legendary* mechanic had installed the rocker arms... **BACKWARDS.** π€―
Yes, backwards.
That little masterpiece damaged the exhaust camshafts, threw the timing out, and stretched the timing chain. A repair bill that could've been avoided with proper workmanship.
So we gave this Cayenne the treatment it deserved:
β
New camshafts & rocker arms
β
New timing chain & guides
β
New water pump
β
New lower & upper suspension arms
β
New gearbox & engine mountings
β
New flywheel oil seal
β
New valve cover seals
β
New engine oil cooler
β
New oil filter housing
The result?
π₯ Starts perfectly.
π₯ Runs smoothly.
π₯ Drives like a brand-new Porsche again.
Here's the question...
Would you rather buy a "low mileage" car and discover all these hidden surprises after handing over your money... or buy one that's been repaired properly with everything documented?
Sometimes, service history is worth far more than the number on the odometer.
