❄️ Mercedes W205 Air-Con Gas Leak ❄️
Air-con gas keeps running low even after topping it up? The leak may be coming from the cooling coil, also known as the evaporator.
The problem? Mercedes decided to hide it deep inside the air-con unit behind the dashboard like a treasure hunt, except the treasure is a leaking cooling coil. 😂
To access and replace it, the entire dashboard and air-con housing must be carefully removed. Yes… all this dismantling just to reach one cooling coil!
Every trim panel, wiring connector and component must be removed and reinstalled correctly to avoid warning lights, strange noises or a dashboard that starts singing over every bump.
If your W205 air-con is no longer cold or frequently needs an air-con gas top-up, don’t keep feeding it gas like it’s always hungry. Let us properly inspect the system and locate the leak.
