The weather’s getting hot again! Don’t let the heat ruin your drive. Remember to check radiator coolant levels. We’ve seen a rise in the number of cars coming in with radiator problems recently. Do check if your radiator fluid is not rusty in color and for contaminants. If you are constantly refilling your coolant tank, there might be a leak and it is best to bring it in for us to check!

An Audi Q5 Quattro came in due to noises coming from the engine. Owner complained of sputtering and rough idle. We quickly identified that the spark plugs were no longer usable and the ignition coils were failing. All these were fixed within the hour and the owner was happily back on the road again.

Install the Do88 AB performance intercooler for our customer's 2nd car - Volvo S60 T5. The intercooler is very well made and fit nicely onto the car.

The cam follower failure is a known issue to Audi or Volkswagen with a 2.0T FSI (EA113) engine. Due to its flawed flat area design of the metal cam follower, it causes the wearing of the cam lobe as it rotates. It will cause severe damage to the high pressure fuel pump and intake camshaft if OEM follower is not changed every 10,000 km or lower if you are heavily modified.

The 2.0T FSI to 2.0 TSI fuel pump follower conversion kit (with Black Anodized Adapter) from iABED Industries is the permanent solution to this problem. This kit utilizes the roller bearing style cam follower found on VAG 2.0 TSI (EA888) engines and retrofits it to work with the OEM 2.0T FSI (EA113) intake cam lobe. To achieve this the camshaft adjuster housing is CNC machined at the fuel pump opening in order to fit the CNC'ed T6061 billet cam follower adapter.
