Daily Workday Snippets - Volkswagen Golf GTI MK6 : MOTUL 8100 Power 5W40 Engine Oil Service + MOTUL High-Torque DCTF DSG Service.

This Volkswagen Golf GTI came in for a routine engine oil service using MOTUL 8100 Power 5W40 Engine Oil which is 100% synthetic with ESTER, as well as a DSG transmission fluid service using MOTUL High-Torque DCTF - also 100% synthetic with ESTER! As part of the DSG service, we've also replaced the DSG Filter Kit using Genuine Volkswagen parts. 👍

Daily Workday Snippets - MINI ONE 5-Door F55 LCI1: MOTUL 8100 X-clean EFE 5W30 Engine Oil Service + Transmission Mount Replacement.

Excessive vibration while idling? Here's a common culprit 🔧

This MINI ONE F55 came in with a worn transmission mount causing noticeable vibration through the cabin. We replaced it with a Genuine BMW MINI mount — the engine mounts had already been done previously, so this was the last piece to sort out. While it was in, we also replaced the rear wiper and did an engine oil service using MOTUL 8100 X-clean EFE 5W30 (BMW LL-04 approved).

We usually recommend replacing the engine mounts and transmission mount together to save on labour costs and get the full comfort improvement in one visit — but this one just needed the transmission side.

Daily Workday Snippets - MINI ONE 3-Door F56 LCI1: MOTUL Multi DCTF.

Is your MINI nagging you for a transmission service? Here's what that actually looks like. 🔧

This MINI ONE's onboard reminder prompted "Service transmission oil" — so we carried out a full drain and fill using MOTUL Multi DCTF, purpose-built for dual-clutch gearboxes. This MINI ONE is equipped with a 7-Speed Dual-Clutch transmission.

Despite certain labels of "Lifetime Oil, No Oil Change Required" for some cars, we would strongly recommend a service to prevent premature wear and mechanical failure of the transmission system. It does not mean that the fluid can last forever.

Why it matters:
✅ Smoother shift feeling, no torque interruption between gear shifts
✅ Improves DCT transmissions response at cold temperature
✅ Extends life time duration, holds up better against high operating temperatures
✅ Helps avoid costly DCT repairs down the line
