Daily Workday Snippets - Mini Cooper S 5-Door PRE-LCI (F55) : JCW Brake Kit, BREMBO PRIME Brake Discs + Ceramic Brake Pads, GOODRIDGE Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines, MOTUL RBF 700 Racing Brake Fluid.

Continuing the upgrades for this Mini Cooper S F55 - Brakes. We prepared and installed our preowned set of F-series MINI JCW front and rear brake kit. The rear brakes for the JCW and Cooper S are actually identical, just that the JCW has the brake calipers painted in red.

We've then replaced the front and rear brake discs with a new set from BREMBO PRIME as well as new rear brake pads with BREMBO PRIME Ceramic. Front brake pads were only used for a very short mileage and were in perfectly good condition, so we've recommended reusing them.

To further enhance the braking improvement, all four brake lines were replaced with the Premium Performance Brake Lines kit from GOODRIDGE. 🇬🇧

For the finishing step, we carried out a full brake fluid flush service using MOTUL RBF 700 Racing Brake Fluid. 🇫🇷

Brembo Prime brake discs with special UV paint treatment guarantees superior corrosion resistance, thanks to the protective coating on the outer edges and on the disc hub.

Brembo Prime Ceramic brake pad ensures comfort and quality, with specific focus on noise and vibration reduction for maximum driving comfort. Also, reduced friction wear and low dust emission keeps your wheels cleaner for longer.

Goodridge Premium Performance Brake Lines replace the factory rubber lines with stainless steel braided construction, which resists expansion under hard braking. The result: a firmer, more responsive brake pedal feel and more consistent, predictable braking — especially noticeable under repeated hard stops.

Notice of Price Adjustment (With effect from 01 Oct 2026)

MOTUL had announced their second price adjustment for 2026, which will be implemented with effect from 01 Oct 2026.

We had already experienced constant rising costs for all of our supplies and consumables. We felt the heat, but despite the cost increment - we continued trying our best to maintain the prices for our engine oil service packages the same till date.

However, after a thorough review following the second price increase, we have decided that it is inevitable and necessary for us to implement a price adjustment for our engine oil service packages as well.

This wasn't a decision we made lightly. We've held off on any price changes for as long as we could, because we know every dollar matters to you as much as it does to us. But to continue delivering the same quality of parts, products and service you've come to expect from us, this adjustment is something we can no longer avoid.

To our customers who have trusted us over the years — thank you. We don't take that trust for granted, and we'll continue doing our best to serve you well, adjustment or not.
