Legend Motors & Leasing Pte Ltd Launches the First 4X4 Pure EV Twincab Pickup Truck that Packs a Punch with Versatility
Legend Motors & Leasing Pte Ltd (Legend Motors), a subsidiary of Dah Chong Hong Holdings (DCH), proudly unveiled the JAC pure electric twincab truck on 25 February 2025. The fully electric JAC T9EV marks a significant milestone as the first 4X4 EV pickup truck powered by dual motors, delivering a combined peak power output of 220kW (295bhp). With an impressive peak torque of 516Nm, this innovative vehicle is set to challenge traditional diesel trucks, accelerating from 0 to 50km/h in 3.5 seconds. Built on a dedicated pure EV chassis platform, the T9EV optimises every watt of power transmitted to its motors, ensuring exceptional performance. Equipped with an 88kWh CATL traction battery, the T9EV offers a remarkable driving range of 340km (WLTP) before requiring a recharge.
In addition to the T9EV, Legend Motors also distributes JAC Light Goods Vehicles, such as the N35EV, as well as Heavy Goods Vehicle likes the N75EV and N90EV.

During the launch event, Mr Oscar Yu, General Manager of JAC International, emphasised JAC Motors’ dedication to creating a sustainable future, highlighting the production of light trucks and electric vehicles in a carbon-neutral factory. Mr Jonathan Li, Director of DCH, took the opportunity to express gratitude to the first batch of JAC Singapore customers for their commitment to fostering a greener and more sustainable future. This inaugural group includes esteemed partners such as DSV, DHL Global Forwarding, Hai Khim Engineering Pte Ltd, Yinson Mobility Pte Ltd, Siang Hock Car Rental Pte Ltd, Global Hydraulics Pte Ltd, BNL Waste Management, Richland Logistics Pte Ltd, Ferrari Logistics Pte Ltd, Aste Global Pte Ltd, HHH Marine & Logistics Pte Ltd, Leong Siew Weng Engineering Pte Ltd and Godspeed Logistics Pte Ltd. Notably, the first batch of JAC T9EV vehicles has been contracted to SIA Engineering Company, aligning with SIAEC’s key initiative to promote cleaner, sustainable aviation for the future.
The JAC T9EV will be available for $145,800 starting from June 2025. The net selling price, after applying the Commercial Vehicle Emission Scheme Band A rebates, will be $130,800, which includes 9% GST.
