A humble simple beginning with a mere of 3 working staff, in an old shop-house on Maju Road in ‘Ang Sar Lee’ (red-tiled roof) – Serangoon Gardens. With only a few car trading companies at that time, businessman and founder Mr Tang Teck Tian took advantage of the fast rising business and expanded its office to Lichfield Road next and thereafter at Aljunied Used Car Centre and Kaki Bukit Car Mart. A

s years passed, with each rise and fall of the economy, we are thankful to have been able to withstand the economy’s unpredictabilities and continue to grow from there.

🕊️ Today, we bid our Founder a final farewell.

Today, the Tang family and all of us at Yong Lee Seng Motor gather to send off our beloved Founder, Mr. Tang Teck Tian (陈得展先生).

Yong Lee Seng Motor will be closed today. We will resume normal operations tomorrow.

For friends, customers, business partners, and members of the automotive community who wish to pay their final respects to our beloved Founder, Mr. Tang Teck Tian (陈得展先生), the wake is being held at:

The funeral cortege will depart on Monday, 13 July 2026 at 9:15am, proceeding to Mandai North Crematorium Hall 7.

Going through old photographs has brought back so many memories.

This was taken during the construction of Automobile Megamart in the late 1990s. Dad was fortunate to stand alongside many respected industry veterans and be part of a milestone that would become a familiar place to so many Singaporeans.

Looking at this photo today, we're reminded not of buildings, but of the people, friendships, and years of dedication behind them.

We miss you, dad.

🕊️ In Loving Memory of Our Founder Mr. Tang Teck Tian (陈得展先生)

It is with profound sadness that the Tang family and all of us at Yong Lee Seng Motor announce the passing of our beloved Founder, Mr. Tang Teck Tian.

Since founding Yong Lee Seng Motor in 1981, he dedicated his life to building a company founded on honesty, integrity, and trust.

Beyond the company, he was a respected Committee Member of the Singapore Vehicle Traders Association (SVTA) and was also among the directors who helped establish Automobile Megamart, one of Singapore’s most iconic automotive hubs that has served the industry for generations.

His values, leadership, and dedication have shaped our company and will continue to guide us for generations to come.

Thank you, Mr. Tang, for everything you have built. Your legacy lives on.
