Hi folks, it’s been a while and we managed to curate a number of “mishaps” from cars coming in. Luckily we managed to catch these problems before they got worse.

This time round we have 3 terrible failures. We got 2 turbos smoking, a delaminated brake pad as well as a metal mesh air filter that wasn’t looked after.

The pictures speak for themselves.

Hi Folks.

I have to make an announcement. As my children are growing up, I have to make a change to the business hours of the shop.

Starting 2nd May 2025, we will start operations at 10am on weekdays and all the way till 10pm. We will have a form of split shift within the shop and this will allow me to knock off at 7pm.

We will also be off on alternate saturdays to give the guys a longer weekend to rest.

Presently this is the best solution we have at the moment and I may alter it a bit more in the future as Pri 1 starts.

Hi folks, here’s a common problem that is very common. Lots of owners retrofit big brakes and the discs are bolted straight through without any clearances for lateral run out. Being Rotora agents, we customized a set of discs for an old customer to provide true floating discs for his car.

Made in USA quality hats, mouting hardware and slotted discs.

Hi folks,

We haven’t posted for a super long time but this accident photo can show a valuable lesson. This car had a frontal side impact and the fiberglass bonnet was ripped off.

If you zoom in, the remainder of the bonnet can still be seen on the bonnet hinge. Imagine frontal impact and the bonnet breaks off and goes backwards.

We cannot stress the importance of buying parts that has undergone the proper engineering and has the required safety considerations during all forms of modifications.

Fortunately in this case, the flying bonnet did not hurt the driver or any passersby.
