Audi R8 Spyder, in for an engine overhaul 🔧

The tech team started by assembling and checking all the necessary factory parts (genuine Audi) before embarking on the job. Quite a major project for the car, but we handle such jobs almost every week at our 3 branches.

Note the cracked engine support bracket in Pics 5-6. It’s made from lightweight aluminum but prone to cracking over time from engine vibrations. Requires careful and experienced techs to rectify, together with the main overhaul job.

Engine overhauls are only necessary once in many years but will take care of oil leaks, carbon build-up, and loss of power ⚙️. Most of us just need to do routine servicing and maintenance to keep our cars in great running condition!

Audi Q7 now retrofitted with 12.3” Android 14 Touchscreen! When the original factory retractable screen malfunctioned due to a faulty motor causing screen to be stuck and unable to move up or down, car owner had 2 options to consider:

1️⃣ Replace BOTH motor AND screen with original factory unit (even though screen was perfectly fine, motor cannot be ordered separately) 😰

2️⃣ Upgrade to Android Touchscreen for greater functionality at half the price 😮

Needless to say, everyone’s delighted with the decision to go with Option 2, as evidenced by some of the team in the last pic! 😊
