There’s a lot of ambiguity when it comes to Auto start-stop. If you own a vehicle with a start-stop and find the auto start-stop function annoying during idles, you can now permanently disable it.

Manually pushing the button previously only switch off the function as long as you don’t turn your car off.

In the case of this X3, a BMW coding is necessary to permanently disable the auto start-stop function.
